Be a PHILOSOPHER; but, amidst all your philosophy, be still a man.
-David Hume
How coud you be grateful enough for parents who thought you were such a blessing?
Gratitude is here presented as more than a feeling, a virtue, or an experience; gratitude emerges as an attitude we can freely choose in order to create a better life for ourselves and for others.

To speak gratitude is courteous and pleasant, to enact gratitude is generous and noble, but to live in gratitude is to touch Heaven.
Gratitude is the state of mind of thankfulness.
There is a calmness to a life lived in Gratitude, a quiet joy.
Joy is the simplest form of gratitude.
Gratitude is the intention to count-your-blessings every day, every minute, while avoiding, whenever possible, the belief that you need or deserve different circumstances.
We spent the 4th of July boating at Lake Mead. We were having so much fun at the lake that it was already dark when we docked. While waiting for Jim to finish filling the tank, I went inside the small store near the gas station and was so surprised to overhear the guys talking in Tagalog. We did some chit chat and found out- they own the Gas Station and the store. Wow! That's a great location. I believe most people that go there have boats. A small boat can fill up to $600-$1,000 worth of gas! Good business, isn't it? I wonder how they make through those winter days though.
