A friend (neighbor way back in our island-Camiguin, Philippines) was here in CA for a vacation with her whole family. So, we decided to meet in Balboa Island, Newport Beach where they stayed- together with some other neighbors who’s been married and lived near the area. It was really fun and exciting to talk about our new lives, adjustments and share our own struggle and happiness in our new-found home. These pictures were taken on our way back from the Balboa Peninsula riding the ferry. It was around 7PM and so the “clouds” get really strange.
