Photo Hunt "Hanging"

With its huge eyes, long tail, hands and feet- the Philippine tarsier, (Tarsius syrichta) is a very peculiar small animal. In fact, it is one of the smallest known primates, no larger than an adult men's hand. Mostly active at night, it lives on a diet of insects. Folk traditions sometimes has it that tarsiers eat charcoal, but actually they retrieve the insects from (sometimes burned) wood. Did you know that we travelled 3 hours just to see these primates? How fun, lol!
Well, that's another tarsier hanging on a coconut tree. Maybe trying her extinct monkey skills? You judge, LOL!

I've seen pictures of these before but never seen one in person. They are so cool. They look like the kind of animal you would like to have as a pet, lol, with those big eyes and all.

Thanks for sharing the photo's.

(And you are never going to get the coconuts until you learn to climb a little higher.)
