Wildfire

The wind is blowing like crazy today. Oh, it started Sunday and the famous Santa Ana wind had visited once again, sending-off other people to evacuation due to wildfire. I remembered last year was really worse. The clouds were so dark, smelled like cooking, mess everywhere even inside the house and that went on for over 2 weeks. It was all so filthy and when you go down the hill, you can see a blaze of fire from afar. Geeeee, it was unbelievably real then.
This afternoon, the dead tree in the neighborhood had generously spread its dry leaves to all corners in the backyard. The association refused to trim it as requested by the homeowner lived near that tree. I wonder if they poisoned that tree coz it's dead now, hmmm....bad me, eh? Anyway, it was all so messy:( My car which I just cleaned last Sunday is all so dirty now. Oh well, at least the gardener will be here tomorrow.

the wildfires there are always horrible. they come & go like rain. i wonder how come people still live there despite the threat? well, am sure they have better reasons. i hope this year's safe from wildfires...

i just mowed our front lawn last weekend. i took the grass cuttings off and put them in a biodegradable container. now i see our lawn filled with maple leaves! oh, fall...

have a great weekend ahead!

My hubby is a long haul driver and we are through CA. all the time.

Those winds are something else. And the fires are crazy too.

A couple of years ago his company's terminal burnt down in the fire out in Fontana.

Oh my good luck with all of the winds. I pray you guys out there don't have as many problems as in the last few years!:-)

@jade: yap, it's really annoying, wala pa namang walis tingting dito, ang hirap i-rake, lol!
@jaejae: that's my question too & those houses are even worth multi-million coz of they're build up in the hill, great locations but not when there's fire:(
@shinade: we're glad it's not as bad as last year but the air is so dry, we're all having plugged nose here,grrrr...

Those wildfires are really alarming. They spread so fast carried by strong gusts of wind. Just be careful and take the necessary precaution for your own safety. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.
