Be a PHILOSOPHER; but, amidst all your philosophy, be still a man.
-David Hume
How coud you be grateful enough for parents who thought you were such a blessing?
Gratitude is here presented as more than a feeling, a virtue, or an experience; gratitude emerges as an attitude we can freely choose in order to create a better life for ourselves and for others.

To speak gratitude is courteous and pleasant, to enact gratitude is generous and noble, but to live in gratitude is to touch Heaven.
Gratitude is the state of mind of thankfulness.
There is a calmness to a life lived in Gratitude, a quiet joy.
Joy is the simplest form of gratitude.
Gratitude is the intention to count-your-blessings every day, every minute, while avoiding, whenever possible, the belief that you need or deserve different circumstances.
I didn't realize I would ever miss Taiwan. It was definitely where I hit the bottom of my life and where I began the process of reclaiming myself so slowly. The cycle of life is indeed simple, we all hit the bottom (which is just a mystery when). If you're wise enough, you'll find your way to emerge and recover yourself. You'd be surprised at how stronger you become and how much you appreciate all the struggles which gave you a different perspective and ability to look for the life you really wanted:)
In the midst of struggle it is hard to appreciate but when the struggle is over and the victory is won, you look back and realize that you wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks for posting something so optimistic. It's refreshing to see. :)

How true, as one of the shortest verses in the Holy Bible says : "It will pass."
All we have to do is to widen our perspective and be positive about our experiences. Good luck to you and God bless.
Great photos! Sometimes we have to hit bottom to finally look up and see our need for God.
