Photo Hunters "Favorite"

Well, I have a lot of favorites but these are the few shots I can think of at this time.

These are my favorite best friends, I can't believe we've been celebrating our friendship for 13 years! We are miles away from each other now but the friendship still remains like we've known each forever:) B is in VA and I really hope to see her and her family next year. God, I just missed their laughs:)
My favorite memory- graduating from college. It's a bitter-sweet memory, a farewell to my good friends, struggles of getting good grades and hello to a whole new competitive world of being a professional.
My favorite toy- iPhone:) It's basically a necessity to me, helps me a lot when I get lost, lol! It keeps me connected all the time: emails, blog, friendster, eBay and text messages. Ah, amazing technology:)
Oh, my ever favorite dessert- the creme brulee, yum! I never tried making one by myself though...

Yap, that's my favorite place, Lake Tahoe. Oh, you might be tired of hearing that, lol! But well, I'll say it again anyway, hahaha! I really love the place:)
Finally, my favorite time of the year, Christmas! Yes, I know- I'm being silly in that picture but it's nice to be a kid sometimes, lol! Enjoy your holiday shopping everyone:)

Photo Hunt "Reflection"

I really love the reflection of the lights in the water. Ah, the singing fountain of Bellagio Hotel, Las Vegas. Photo was taken last July 4th. Happy photo hunting everyone:)

Photo Hunt "Ruined"

It was early Monday morning when I arrived at the office with this picture on my desk- a ruined drawer and a note on it.

I have to lock my drawer because of some important documents and the check book. The alarm is not installed at the new building yet. The lady who worked for us remotely (most of the time) came and looking for some pen on my desk and she tried opening the drawer. It’s amazing how she was able to break it apart. It’s no big deal though. Jim had fixed it already :)

Photo Hunt "Together"

(taken at Yosemite National Park of last year's Christmas vacation together)

Love is giving and forgiving,
Taking and partaking of the sweetest joys
And most comforting reassurances imaginable.

Love is amazing, precious, and beautiful.
It's there for the giving; here for the receiving.
Love is what I want to give to you and what
I pray that you will always share with me.
Love endures, and love will make sure
...that we're as happy as two people can be.

Photo Hunt "Blue"

Enjoying the blue skies on a summer vacation at Fort Lauderdale, FL of last year. It was painfully hot and humid at that time. I never realized it was hotter than in the Philippines but it was fun, fun vacation. Happy Halloween weekend!

Photo Hunt "Scary"

Every once in a while we go to this place near the YMCA building at nights. Jake just loved chasing the bunnies- he’s leashed though coz we’re too scared he might get lost in the dark woods up in the hill. Most of the time the place is quiet and all you would hear are the kids screaming down the hill in the soccer field.

This time around though, it’s crowded. There are lots of cars and kids around the building. There’s a Halloween party!
We saw this guy so lonely on the other side of the gate and wondered maybe he scared all the other kids away, hahaha! I'm glad he looked at me when we pulled the car in front of him, lol! I don't have my cyber-shot then and so just bear with the blurry shots from my iPhone:) Happy Scary Photo Hunting, guys!

Photo Hunt "Family"

Meet my family. It’s not really a recent picture; this was taken 9 years ago on what used to be a family day. Most Sunday afternoons, we hang out at the beach; have some barbeque and kinilaw/sushi. My Uncles and cousins (boys) would go fishing and we’ll just cook bananas and so when they arrive we have some fresh, sweet, raw fish to eat with vinegar and chili, of course. Ah, I missed those days!

Photo Hunt "Lazy"

Isn’t he such a spoiled brat? Lol! Nope, he’s just waiting for the mailman to drop by. He just loved barking at anybody. Guess, he thought we’re all boring companion. Nobody plays with him especially in the morning. Everybody’s so busy and when I go to Jim’s office and snuggle sometimes, oh boy, he’ll just bark like crazy. He’s not just a lazy guy but a jealous guy too, lol!

Photo Hunt "SAD"

This was taken after we decorated the Christmas tree last year. Jim was resting after putting all the lights in the front yard when Jake came and sit on his lap. Just for the fun of it, I put the Santa’s hat on them and took this picture. They both looked cute and as always Jake wear his SAD face. I bet he’s happy, lol!

Photo Hunt "View"

This was taken when we were kinda frustrated on looking for a parking place in downtown San Francisco. We were planning to do some shopping and visit the Chinatown after we checked out at the hotel. Unfortunately, we were just cruising around for over an hour and too frustrated to get a parking spot- that we just decided to leave and head to our next destination (Santa Barbara). We were driving up in the hill and found this very nice “view” of the whole city and thought we’d stop and take a picture:) This was taken up at the top part of North Lake Tahoe when we toured around the lake. The whole idea for that vacation really is for me to experience snow. I’m glad Jim is so kind enough to grant that Christmas wish, lol! I admit, it really means a lot to me:)

Photo Hunt "Road"

This maybe the most exciting road picture I've taken so far:) As a matter of fact, it's my first time to have traveled in a place where there's a snow or should I say it was really pouring!Wow! I can't believe I saw this for real, lol! This was taken on our Christmas vacation road trip last year- in North Lake Tahoe. Beautiful place!
Did you know that we waited for an hour in the car just to get pass this "world's most crooked street"? haha! Jim told me to run up above to take some pictures while he's driving his way up the hill. It was really chilly in San Francisco (still on our Christmas road trip) and the whole street is full of tourists taking pictures. The Lombard Street goes straight down with grooves and curves on it and some very pretty flowers! Oh, amazing history! Oh, I took this while Jim was driving and I stood up at my car seat with the sun roof open. Amazing shot! Whew! That was a very memorable ride, hahaha! It blew my hat off and my sunglass almost (well, almost doesn't count, lol!). We drove through the Golden Gate Bridge the day before and we can't see the whole bridge at all:( It was all so foggy when we entered...
All these pictures were taken on our road trip:) I still have a lot of pictures to share but I'm afraid I might run out of bandwidth here, haha! Enjoy your weekend all! Happy Photo Hunting!

Photo Hunt "WILD"

This beautiful, wild bird wandered endlessly at the river near the beach where we ate our lunch. I don't really know its name but just thought it would be a nice shot for the week's theme: WILD. Happy Photo Hunting all and enjoy your weekend!

Photo Hunt "Strings"

I'm not sure if this curtain is made of strings (in Urban Thai resto) but it looks like it, lol! I was so busy doing some other stuff at work that I didn't realize it's dinner time and so we just went out to dinner in a Thai restaurant. We both ordered two yellow chicken curry and a Tom Yum Kung for starter. After serving the soup, came another plate of curry and a bowl of rice. I told Jim that the lady forgot about my order. Then, I thought maybe we should have ordered one serving since it's quiet a large plate. He just teased me that it's been combined together. When we got the bill- apparently, there's only one:) Well, we're both full, can't complain, lol!
Happy weekend all:)

Photo Hunt "Beautiful"

I definitely fell in love with the “beautiful” Lake Tahoe! You just don't know how excited I was a week before we went on that road trip. I always see Lake Tahoe in pictures and it was a dream-come-true to finally able to visit the place:) That was the best Christmas gift I had received. I thought all those pictures in the post cards, in TV or magazines are just a Photoshop but really, it’s a genuine beauty!

Photo Hunt "Wrinkled"

With respect to the culture of the older generations in Bali, Indonesia; this picture reminds us of what hard labor means. I admit, I love comforts and who wouldn’t? Some people are not that privileged though to live and enjoy a good life. Made me appreciate the more what I have and share some. I don’t have any picture that represents something “wrinkled” and thought it’s a best shot for the theme this week. It’s an old picture but it’s worth sharing, I guess. Happy weekend everyone!

Photo Hunt "Colorful"

We did had a great time at the Sin City- Las Vegas. The city lights are so "colorful" and fascinating:) We never gamble at the Casinos though ... Nobody never really imagined a lot of people would travel half around the world just to spend money in Las Vegas:)
